Mid Life Beginnings

On April 23, 2009 I turned 50 years old. I also finished working at the business I ran for 12 years and suddenly all of our children were also out of the house. Having sold Corpell's and having finished raising children I had nothing left to do except golf, play squash with my brother Patrick, travel and spend time with nieces and nephews.

Thus began my Mid Life Crisis.

I bought a BMW M3. I traveled to Africa, Buffalo, Toronto, Florida and Phoenix. We bought an expensive horse and paid off all our debt. I also began writing poetry again.

I started a consulting company and volunteered almost full time for MCC at Sam's Place, a used book store and coffee shop.
